My main goal is to completely replace all my Windows Media Center machines and switch to XBMC + Fire TV for each location in my house. When I saw the Fire TV come out I ordered day one. I've played with XBMC a little in the past but nothing too in depth.

Just install 1Mobile Market on your Fire TV and install the BT Sport app from there. EDIT: I just installed the official BT Sport app and it opens, but I do not have an account to log in, so all I get is the BT Sport background and a login form. Also, I am using the lastest version of Youtube with 7.0.99 and it works great. Thats why if you go to the actuall playstore every app will say "latest version - varies from devicess", cause depending on your hardware the version number will be different.
Not all devices use the same verion of an app. 7.3.29 is the latest version that works on certain hardware and 7.0.99 is also the latest version for other devicess. 7.0.99 is actualy the same version as 7.3.29 with a different version number and is meant to work with the Fire TV hardware. Google Play Sevices is not broken, 7.3.29 is not built to work on the Fire TV.
